The hotel is located in a stunning country setting with beautiful views. The inside areas are tastefully decorated and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast is lovely and plentiful, with a good choice of morning goods and a delicious fruit salad. The staff are friendly and helpful, providing excellent service. The hotel also offers easy parking and disabled parking for those with specific needs.

There are lots of stairs in the hotel, which may not be suitable for guests with mobility problems.

We had a lovely stay at the hotel. The room was clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated. The staff were friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from check-in to check-out. The location offered stunning views and was perfect for walkers. The food options were excellent, with something for everyone. a pleasant experience with great service and a comfortable room.

Some members of the staff were a bit rude on the evening, which was a bit disappointing.

The hotel is situated in a picturesque location with beautiful views across the valley. the rooms are furnished to a high standard, comfortable, and warm. the breakfast is excellent, with good quality and plentiful options. the staff are helpful and friendly, creating a nice atmosphere between staff and customers.

Some areas of the hotel are run down and could do with a clean and tidy up.

We had a great value for our money and the room was lovely with a comfy bed and a nice little balcony. The location was convenient and the staff were friendly and welcoming.

The breakfast option would have been better with more variety.

my recent stay at a hotel in Halifax was great, but New Hobbit in Sowerby Bridge was even better! The staff were welcoming, the food was excellent, and the view from our balcony room was stunning. The double shower in the bathroom was a nice touch too!

    Room could've been cleaner.

The hotel's location provided breathtaking views of the surrounding scenery, making it a truly picturesque getaway. I especially enjoyed waking up to the stunning views of the beautiful Pennines from my room. the staff were friendly and accommodating, always available to assist with any needs or requests. the spacious and clean room, along with the comfortable beds, made for a pleasant and restful stay.

That the hotel was situated on top of a steep hill, which made it a bit challenging to explore the nearby town. the website's claim of the hotel's proximity to the town center was misleading, as the uphill journey was quite taxing.

The room we stayed in was very nice, clean, and comfortable. the balcony offered great views, even though we couldn't use it due to the weather. the buffet breakfast on Sunday was delicious and had a good variety of options. the location of the hotel was perfect, with easy access to the town and beautiful surroundings.

Some of the details in the room were disappointing. the bathroom lacked a cold water option, making it uncomfortable to use.

Room without balcony initially, but easily fixed. Pretty views, peaceful area. Comfortable beds, happy stay. Nice location, spacious shower. Fresh off-menu breakfast mid-week. Amazing family meal for 15 people, excellent food and staff. Return visit, annex rooms nicer with great views. High standards of cleanliness and facilities. Good wine selection.
